MO Senators look at tax policy
Missouri senators looked at a certain tax policy this week. Senator Travis Fitzwater is sponsoring Senate Bill 7-99, and tells colleagues his proposal seeks to modify provisions relating to motor vehicle assessments:
At issue is how county assessors valuate a car or truck’s worth. During discussion, Senator Lauren Arthur mentioned this legislation would change the method to measure a vehicle’s trade-in value:
If this measure were to become law, it would take effect on January 1st of next year.
