MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville Public Library is reaching out to the community for input on shaping its future offerings.
With over 60,000 items checked out by cardholders last year, including books, audiobooks, and electronic resources, the library is keen to align its collections with local interests.
Understanding the community's needs, will help the library optimize its resources effectively.
Beyond lending materials, the library caters to various community needs, offering services like public printing, Internet access, and notary acts.
However, with over 3,400 active card accounts, meeting reading and listening demands remains a top priority.
The survey will be open throughout this month and aims to gather insights on preferred topics, genres, authors, and formats. Available both in print at the library and online, the survey takes just one-to-two minutes to complete.
The library hopes this collaborative effort will enhance its services and better serve the Maryville community's diverse interests and needs.
