Nodaway Chorale offering scholarships for high school seniors

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway Chorale will be offering its annual scholarship to all eligible seniors in every school district in Nodaway County.

The purpose of the $1,000 scholarship is to encourage students who demonstrate a passion for and commitment to vocal music, to display the value the Chorale places on choral music and to provide financial assistance to qualified graduating high school seniors to further their education.

Recipients are not required to focus their future educational plans on music.

Complete information and application forms have been distributed to music teaches, guidance counselors and principles at all of the high schools in Nodaway County.

The application deadline is March 1 with the awards being granted in late spring.
