Sheriff's Office: Shenandoah woman arrested on drug charges

SHENANDOAH, Iowa - A 43-year-old Shenandoah woman faces drug charges following her arrest.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says Alexandra Dawn Lasley was arrested shortly before 9:15 p.m. Tuesday for second offense possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense. It's considered an aggravated misdemeanor.

The Sheriff's Office says the arrest occurred after deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Highway 48.

A Montgomery County K-9 Unit was deployed during the traffic stop. Lasey was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where she is being held on a $2,000 bond.
