SHERIDAN, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two Maryville men were seriously injured in a UTV wreck in Worth County.

The Patrol says 20-year-old Donato Chesnut was driving a UTV, with 21-year-old Dakota McMahon as a passenger, on Cedar Avenue, at 100th Road, five miles north of Sheridan.

At 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Chesnut failed to negotiate a curve and the UTV traveled off the road and overturned, ejecting Chesnut and McMahon.

While overturning, the UTV struck Chesnut. Both men were taken to Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph with serious injuries.
