Clarence Green discusses what's next after retirement

MARYVILLE, Mo. - After 28 years of dedicated service at Northwest Missouri State University, a familiar face in the community is bidding farewell.

Northwest Chief of Police Dr. Clarence Green will be retiring, with his last day at Northwest set for this Sunday. While retirement has been on the horizon for Dr. Green for some time, he's approaching it with thoughts of transition.

Dr. Green has held various pivotal roles since joining the institution in 1996, including serving as interim president and vice president of culture, among others.
