GOWER, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two individuals sustained injuries, with the driver subsequently arrested, following a collision in Buchanan County.

The Patrol says the incident involved a 2018 Ram 2500, driven by 22-year-old Kurtis Nelson of Stewartsville.

The vehicle was traveling southbound on SE 140 Road just north of Buehler Road, approximately four miles north of Gower.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nelson lost control of the pickup truck, causing it to veer off the road and collide with a tree.

Emergency medical services transported a passenger, identified as 21-year-old Cayden Pendleton, of Agency, to Mosaic Life Care.

Nelson was taken into custody on requested charges of felony DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway involving an accident.
