MSHP: Lathrop man seriously injured in wreck

LATHROP, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Lathrop man is in serious condition after a single-vehicle wreck in Clinton County.

The Patrol says 44-year-old Kam Montgomery was driving a 2008 Kia Sorrento on SE Cannonball Road, about four miles south of Lathrop.

At 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, the Kia traveled off the road and struck a tree. Authorities believe speed was a factor. Montgomery was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
