MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce is hosting a pivotal event Thursday evening, ahead of the municipal elections in April.
The 2024 Spring Candidate and Issues Forum will take place at the Rose Hill Acres Event Center in Maryville at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening 15 minutes before the start.
Candidates running for positions on the Maryville City Council and Maryville Board of Education will be in attendance, along with representatives discussing two ballot issues, the Nodaway 911 Central Dispatch and the Maryville R-II District Proposition JUMP.
The evening's format will include brief introductions by the candidates and issue representatives, followed by a question and answer session facilitated by a panel from various media outlets.
