The Missouri Natural Resources Conservation Service is offering a significant funding opportunity for partners dedicated to conserving the state's natural resources. The deadline for proposals is April 8th.
These agreements aim to provide technical assistance vital for soil, water, and wildlife conservation programs across Missouri. Emphasis areas include forest management, nutrient management, wildlife habitat expansion, engineering for conservation practices, watershed assessment, and creating a Missouri Soils Library database.
Applicants must showcase their ability to educate farmers, ranchers, and landowners, on successful Farm Bill program application and climate-smart conservation practices. To apply, submissions must be made via grants.gov. For further details on NRCS grants and agreements, visit their website or contact Jenny Long at (573) 876-0901.
