St. Joseph motorcyclist seriously injured in wreck

WINTHROP, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist is in serious condition after a wreck in Buchanan County.

The Patrol says 53-year-old Jeremy Thompson of St. Joseph was driving a 1982 Harley Davidson on U.S. Highway 59, within the city limits of Winthrop.

At 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, the Harley crossed the center line, began to skid, and traveled into the path of a 2019 Ford F-350. Thompson was ejected from the Harley. He was taken to Mosaic Life Care with serious injuries.
