FALLS CITY, Neb. - A new Nebraska Academy is set to open its doors during the upcoming 2024-25 school year as part of the Southeast Nebraska Career Academy Partnership offered through Southeast Community College.

The Falls City Career Academy will offer five programs covering Agriculture, Construction, Education, Healthcare, and Welding, providing students from Falls City High School, Falls City Sacred Heart, and Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer with valuable career pathways.

With a focus on real-world skills, the academy aims to equip students not just for college but for successful careers in their chosen fields.

The academy marks a significant expansion of opportunities for students to earn college credit while still in high school.

By enrolling in courses, students can save significantly on tuition costs compared to standard college rates, with additional benefits including accelerated degree completion and increased employment opportunities.
