MoDOT seeking input on bridge deck replacement projects

CRAIG, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting to discuss upcoming bridge deck replacement projects on U.S. Route 59 in Holt County.

Residents are encouraged to attend the public open house meeting at Craig Elementary School on Monday, May 6. The event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering attendees the chance to speak directly with project leaders.

There will be no formal presentation, allowing for an open dialogue. This meeting aims to gather public input, concerns, and comments regarding the bridge projects.

Engineers from MoDOT will be on hand to address questions not only about the bridge replacements but also about other transportation improvement projects and maintenance work in the area.

For those unable to attend the open house, alternative avenues for public comment are available until Monday, May 20.
