Two area hospitals recognized for blood donation efforts

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Two hospitals in the KXCV/KRNW listening area have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to blood donation efforts.

Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph Medical Center, and Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville received accolades from the Community Blood Center for their exceptional donation numbers in 2023.

The St. Joseph location stood out as the top hospital with over 300 donations, while Maryville's location secured the third spot with more than 180 donations.

Notably, Maryville also clinched the title of the top mobile blood drive donation community, tallying over 700 donations citywide.
