ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The St. Joseph Arts Academy is set to host a unique opportunity for guitar enthusiasts with a free "masterclass." It will be led by acclaimed guitarist and composer, Anthony Glise, on Sunday, June 2, from 2 to 4 p.m.
According to Glise, it's essentially, a guitar lesson—but it’s in front of an audience—so it’s very interactive.
Glise has a rich background and extensive experience, including recent engagements across the U.S., in Europe, and in Puerto Rico.
Glise is currently teaching at the St. Joseph Arts Academy during his sabbatical from his professorship in France.
The masterclass welcomes performers of all ages and styles, with many young students from the Academy expected to participate. Interested students should reserve their spot by calling the academy at 816-623-2002.
Audience members are also welcome to attend without a reservation.
