Lied Public Library welcoming area author

CLARINDA, Iowa - The Lied Public Library in Clarinda is hosting a special event featuring former New Market resident Tim Pratt.

Scheduled for Thursday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m., Pratt will take the stage to discuss his recently published memoir, "A Journey Blessed; My Life & Learnings."

Pratt's memoir recounts the story of a young boy raised on a farm in southwestern Iowa who aspired to achieve something remarkable despite the constraints of his upbringing and personal insecurities.

From his humble beginnings, Pratt embarked on a journey marked by hard work, resilience, and a commitment to never giving up.

His path led him through law school to become a nationally-recognized trial attorney and later a business executive and general counsel for a prominent medical device manufacturer.

This event is free to attend or watch over Zoom, with paperback copies of Pratt's book available for purchase for in-person attendees.
