MSHP: 3 injured in single-vehicle wreck

ambulance emergency

JAMESPORT, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says three people were injured, two seriously, in a one-vehicle crash in Davies County.

The Patrol says the accident involved a 2007 Chevy Traverse driven by 31-year-old Jared Curtis of Gallatin.

At 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Curtis lost control of the vehicle while traveling on Prairie Avenue, about four miles south of Jamesport, causing it to veer off the road, overturn, and strike several trees.

The crash resulted in serious injuries to both Jared Curtis and 26-year-old passenger Sara Wilson, also from Gallatin. Both were transported by Life Flight Eagle to North Kansas City Hospital.

Another passenger, 25-year-old Cheyenne Pettit from Chillicothe, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph. None of the occupants were wearing a seat belt.
