MSHP: Nodaway County wreck seriously injures NE woman

ambulance emergency

QUITMAN, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Nebraska woman is in serious condition after a wreck in Nodaway County.

The Patrol says the crash occurred at 9:30 a.m. yesterday, at the intersection of MO Highways 46 and 113, two miles south of Quitman.

The crash involved a 2003 Mitsubishi Endeavor driven by 35-year-old Lindsey Storm from Omaha, and a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica driven by 72-year-old Kathleen Leus from Maryville.

Authorities say Lindsey Storm failed to stop at a stop sign on 1-13, striking the driver's side of the Chrysler on 46.

Storm, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by Life-Flight to Omaha Medical Center. Leus suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville.
