GALLATIN, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is gearing up for public engagement on two major bridge projects in Daviess County.

The projects, set to enhance infrastructure in the area, include a bridge replacement on Daviess County Route 190 over Clear Creek and a bridge rehabilitation on Daviess County Route 6 over U.S. Interstate 35.

Residents are invited to attend a public open-house meeting on Tuesday, May 21st, at Gallatin High School Library.

The meeting, running from 4 to 6 p.m., offers an opportunity for locals to voice their thoughts and concerns regarding the design and detour plans for both projects.

MoDOT engineers will be on hand to address questions about these projects and other transportation initiatives in the region.

If you can't make it to the meeting, you still have a chance to provide feedback. You can visit the project webpages listed on MoDOT's website to view details and leave comments.
