MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville residents and visitors have probably noticed two new additions in the downtown area. Unveiled earlier this month, the two sculptures by esteemed artists Jeffrey Satter and Harold Linke.
Jeffrey Satter’s "Stellar," located on Main Street near Simply Siam, is a striking piece that captures the essence of celestial beauty.
Satter explains, "The word STELLAR means wonderful, outstanding, better than everything else. I hope everyone enjoys 'Stellar' and takes the time to look upward on a dark night and see the amazing wonders that God has given all of us."
Harold Linke’s "Dancing Flame," set on the Fourth Street pedestal near Willow and Elm, reflects the artist's childhood memories of campfires.
