QUITMAN, Mo. - After spending a week at a location near Quitman, the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office has concluded it's investigation in regards to a tip received in the Branson Perry disappearance case.

According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, despite a credible tip being received last week in the case, no new evidence was recovered at the scene on Wednesday after FBI agents arrived to assist at the scene.

The Sheriff's Office adds in it's press release that it will continue to utilize resources in the pursuit of justice in regards to the Perry case.

The then 20-year-old Perry disappeared on April 11, 2001, after mentioning to a friend that he was returning jumper cables to a shed outside his home.

If you have any information in the case, call the Sheriff's Office at 660-582-7451.
