Authorities: Two arrested in Kansas drug bust

MORRILL, Kan. - Kansas law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug allegations in Morrill.

According to authorities, on Sunday, June 23, just before 4:30 p.m., Brown County officials and the Kansas Department for Children and Families conducted a welfare check at a residence.

Following the welfare check, 33-year-old Alicia Jennings and 38-year-old Patrick Perkins were arrested. They face charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The children in the home were placed in Police Protective Custody as the investigation continues.
