BETHANY, Mo. - During their most recent city council meeting, the Bethany Board of Alderman finally settled the subject of dog bites.

City Administrator Jake Taylor expressed complications surrounding the issue as there is no longer a vet clinic to house these animals during their city-mandated quarantine period.

However, the Board has come to an agreement as to how this issue should be handled.

Outside of the dog bite issue, the city is also in the works with the Missouri Department of Transportation to sign an agreement for street lights on Highway W as one of their last areas to be renovated.
