Driver injured and arrested after Nodaway County accident

RAVENWOOD, Mo. - A single-car accident in Nodaway County this week left one person injured and later arrested.

Just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, 47-year-old Jennifer Osborn, of Ravenwood, was driving a 2017 Chevy Malibu on MO Highway 46 near West Ross Street when the vehicle veered off the road.

The car struck multiple mailboxes and a fire hydrant before overturning and coming to rest upside down in a home's front yard. Osborn was arrested on charges of DWI and operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner.

She was transported to Mosaic in Maryville for treatment. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
