MSHP: Woman seriously injured in St. Joseph wreck

ambulance emergency

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a woman was seriously injured after a wreck in Buchanan County.

The Patrol says a 2015 Chevy Quinox, driven by 26-year-old Bryan Kellem, was driving on Route A, near Vera Lane, just south of St. Joseph.

At 1:46 p.m. Tuesday, Kellem failed to yield to a 2008 Mercury Mariner that was making a left turn. The collission seriously injured 19-year-old Kaylee Crockett who was driving the Mercury.

Crockett was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Kellem suffered no injuries.
