MARYVILLE, Mo. - Another massive construction project could begin as soon as next month in Maryville.
Phase 2 of the South Main Corridor Improvement is an 18-month construction project that will complete the long-planned overhaul of the city's busiest roadway, with initial plans dating back over a decade.
City Manager Greg McDanel says the city council approved a contract with Genesis Environmental Solutions to handle Phase 2, which will span from South Main's intersection with State Highway V to Highway 71.
Phase 2 will replicate the enhancements made in Phase 1, including traffic and pedestrian safety improvements, drainage upgrades, and aesthetic features like lighting.KXCV-KRNW
