Maryville resident appointed to Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri Gov. Mike Parson has announced 19 appointments to various boards and commissions, including a notable appointment of Kimathia Wright from Maryville to the Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council.

Ms. Wright is currently the chair of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly KC Adult Wellness Center. She has previously served as an office assistant for Metropolitan Community College – Longview.

Her appointment is part of a broader initiative to strengthen the council's impact across Missouri.

Other notable appointments include Steve Ahrens to the Governor’s Council on Disability, Ed Elder to the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners, and Lyda Krewson to the University of Missouri Board of Curators.

These appointments reflect Governor Parson's commitment to enhancing leadership and service across the state.
