ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Pony Express Museum in St. Joseph is proud to announce its participation in the Blue Star Museum Program.

This program, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense, was announced on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

It offers free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve members. The 2024 program runs through Labor Day on September 2.

The museum has enhanced its exhibits by adding Blue Star Emblems to nine displays with direct military connections.

Blue Star Families will receive a special pamphlet detailing these connections, and children will receive a special gift at the end of their tour.

The Pony Express Museum is honored to offer this program and recognize the sacrifices of Blue Star Families who serve and protect the nation. For more information, visit the museum's website.
