Savannah explores opening a marijuana dispensary

SAVANNAH, Mo. - The city of Savannah could see some business changes this year. City Administrator Bruce Lundy says Gambino's Pizza will be moving into Savannah and is in the works to open their doors in September of this year.

While Gambino's is a fully formed plan ready to take place in the city, Lundy spoke on Savannah's potential to house a dispensary.

However, with the recent legality of marijuana in Missouri, Savannah must identify rules and regulations surrounding the sale of marijuana.

Dispensary operators have reached out to the city, but no further action has yet been taken.
