ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph is hosting an opening reception for the "Small Wonders" exhibition Friday, June 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The exhibition features artwork by Debra Keirce, Denise Horne-Kaplan, and Brenda Morgan, showcasing their intricate miniature and small format paintings.

Miniature paintings, defined as 25 square inches or less and painted in "the spirit of miniature," offer highly detailed classical realism.

The exhibition allows patrons to appreciate the differences between miniature and small format paintings. Following the reception, guests can enjoy a live jazz performance by Urban Forum in the auditorium.

Tickets for the concert are 20 dollars and can be purchased by calling 816-233-7003. For more information, visit Albrecht-Kemper.org or call 816-233-7003.
