ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph is unveiling two new exhibitions starting Friday, July 19.

The opening reception, from 4-7 p.m., will kick off "The Architecture of St. Joseph: The Golden Age Revisited" and "Art of the Camera: Selections from the Hatten Camera Collection."

"The Architecture of Saint Joseph" revisits an exhibition from 1974, showcasing historical photographs of the city’s iconic buildings from the late 19th century.

This updated version includes new photos highlighting preservation efforts and architectural elements from the past 50 years.

"Art of the Camera" features over a century of camera design and technology from the Hatten family's private collection, including brands like Kodak and Nikon, as well as rare cameras from Japan and Russia.

The event is free and open to the public, with a cash bar available. The exhibitions will run through September 15. For more information, call 816-233-7003.
