Candidate Forum to take place during Nodaway County Fair

election

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate Forum on Thursday, July 11 during the Nodaway County Fair for citizens to hear from candidates ahead of the August primary election.

Sponsored by Evergy, the event is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Rose Hill Acres Event Center. The public is encouraged to attend, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

Candidates from four contested local races, including State Rep. District 1 and Nodaway County Sheriff, will be in attendance.

The forum will feature brief introductions by the candidates followed by a question and answer session with a media panel, including KXCV/KRNW. Uncontested candidates will also have the opportunity to address the attendees.
