Longtime Northwest Missouri State University police officer Anthony Williams accepted a new challenge at Indiana University in Bloomington. Williams was hired as first deputy superintendent and chief law enforcement officer at Indiana, beginning August first.
Williams has served at Northwest since 2010, and is currently Lieutenant of Operations.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Recreation and Wellness and a Master's degree in Business Administration, both from Northwest. He is also a graduate of the FBI Academy.
In his new role, Williams will lead nine Indiana University police department campuses as chief and will assist the Public Safety Superintendent as deputy.
