Kansans least likely to be scammed

Identity Theft

Some of the least vulnerable states to identity theft and fraud are right here in our listening area.

According to the financial website, Wallet-Hub, Kansans are the least likely in the nation to fall victims to identity theft and fraud. Wallet-Hub found Iowa was the third least likely, while Nebraska was the 15th least likely. However, Missourians were the 18th most vulnerable to identity theft and fraud.

For this study, Wallet-Hub looked at incidents of identity theft and fraud, and the average amount lost from both crimes. The most vulnerable to identity theft and fraud were in the District of Columbia.
