JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri's annual Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday kicks off at midnight this Friday and runs through midnight on Sunday.

During this period, certain back-to-school items, including school supplies, computers, and clothing, are exempt from all state and local sales taxes.

Eligible items include clothing priced at $100 or less, school supplies under $50, and personal computers and peripherals costing up to $1,500.

The tax holiday applies to anyone making a qualifying purchase, not just Missouri residents or students. This year, local sales tax will also be waived statewide. For more details, visit dor.mo.gov.
