MSHP: Teen and woman injured in head-on collision

LATHROP, Mo. - A teenager and 35-year-old woman were seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 16-year-old from Faucett was driving a 2020 Ram Truck on MO Highway 116 near Lathrop.

At 5:18 p.m. Monday, the teen attempted to pass another vehicle on the highway and struck a 2013 Toyota RAV-4 head-on.

The teenager, and the driver of the Toyota, Allison Hamm of Polo, were taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
