Missouri is the 10th worst state to start a business

Starting a business is never easy, but it may not be any easier in our listening area. According to the financial website Wallet-Hub, Missouri is the 10th worst state to start a business. Nebraska is the 16th worst state, Kansas is the 18th worst state and Iowa is the 19th worst state. For this study, Wallet-Hub looked at several factors, including the number of small businesses, accessible financing, labor costs, the average work week in terms of hours, and numerous other metrics. The best state to start a business was Utah while the worst state was Rhode Island.
