Some of the best states to raise a family are right here in our listening area. According to Wallet-Hub, Nebraska is the 4th best state to raise a family and Iowa is the 11th best. Missouri ranked 24th while Kansas ranked 29th.
For this study, Wallet-Hub looked at health and safety issues, education and child care factors, affordability, and several other metrics. The best state to raise a family was Massachusetts while the worst state was New Mexico.
