Annual Chautauqua in the Park happening next month

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - Chillicothe is gearing up for the 39th Annual Chautauqua in the Park, happening on Sept. 7 and 8 at Simpson Park.

This beloved community festival, hosted by the Chillicothe Area Chamber in partnership with Hedrick Medical Center, promises to be the biggest yet, with the highest number of vendors in over a decade.

The event features a juried arts and crafts festival, fabulous food, a large children's area, diverse stage entertainment, and a bustling Farmers Market.

New this year are two additional food trucks and the return of the Storytelling Area, sponsored by Livingston County Farm Bureau. For more information, visit chillicothemo.com.
