Chillicothe man arrested on drug charges

A Chillicothe man was arrested earlier this week and now faces another drug charge. 48-year-old Corey David Stottlemyre was taken into custody following a traffic stop just after 9:00 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

He is currently being held at the Caldwell County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. Stottlemyre has a history of drug-related arrests, including a previous arrest in May for methamphetamine possession. After posting bond in June for that charge, his preliminary hearing for the new case is set for Tuesday, September 10th at 1:30 p.m.
