JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Kelly Education has been approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to provide substitute teacher training.

This makes them one of only three approved vendors in the state. Individuals with less than 36 hours of college credits must complete a state-approved course to qualify for a substitute certificate.

Kelly Education’s program offers 20 hours of comprehensive curriculum at a reduced cost, providing a convenient path for potential applicants such as retired school personnel, parents, and healthcare professionals to become substitute teachers.

The training includes interactive modules covering basic instructional strategies, specialized practices for teaching children with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, and essential areas such as maintaining instructional continuity and managing student behavior.
