MDA announces Urban Agriculture Cost-Share Grant Program

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.- The Missouri Department of Agriculture has announced the Urban Agriculture Cost-Share Grant Program, offering grants of up to $10,000 for urban agriculture and economic development projects.

The grants will reimburse 75% of project expenses, with applications due by Sept. 15, 2024, and projects needing to be completed or near completion by April 30, 2025.

Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate economic benefits, sustainable revenue potential, and job creation.

Eligible projects include developing agribusinesses, production infrastructure, and training for agricultural business sustainability. For more information, visit agriculture.mo.gov or call 573-751-7794.
