JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is offering native tree and shrub seedlings for sale through its George O. White State Forest Nursery.
The low-cost seedlings are ideal for enhancing wildlife habitat, soil conservation, and property value. Available species include oak, walnut, hickory, pine, redbud, and more.
Prices range from $0.40 to $1.17 per seedling, sold in bundles of 10 or 25. MDC recommends ordering early, as popular species can sell out quickly.
Orders are accepted from Sept. 3 through April 15, 2025, with shipments or pickups available from February through May. To order, visit mdc.mo.gov.
