ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation's George O. White Tree Nursery in Licking is buying seeds from the public for various tree and shrub species.
In northwestern Missouri, seeds can be brought to MDC’s Northwest Regional Office in St. Joseph this Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from noon until 4:30 p.m.
Accepted seeds include Wild Plum, Hazelnut, Paw Paw, and Black Cherry, with varying prices per pound. Payment will be issued after seed acceptance.
