OREGON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a two-vehicle crash led to a death in Holt County. The Patrol says 21-year-old Chelsey Guyer, of Fillmore, was driving a 2016 Chevy Malibu on U.S. Highway 59 in Holt County.

At 3:29 a.m. Sunday, the Chevy crossed the center line and struck the front driver's side of a 2018 Ford Eco-sport, driven by 57-year-old Angela Woods, of Oregon.

Woods, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene 20 minutes later. Guyer, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph before being taken to Truman Medical Center by LifeNet.

A passenger in the Chevy, 18-year-old Peyton Ohnemus, of Oregon, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
