MSHP: Sedalia man seriously injured in crash

BETHANY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 23-year-old Sedalia man, Nicholas Anders, was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Harrison County.

The crash occurred at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Interstate 35, just three miles north of Bethany.

Anders was driving a semi-truck when it traveled off the road, struck a guardrail, hit a concrete barrier, and then collided with a bridge pillar. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Anders was initially taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center before being transferred to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries.
