MU Extension Office to host field day later this month

ROCK PORT, Mo. - The University of Missouri's Graves-Chapple Extension and Education Center will host its 2024 field day on Tuesday, Aug. 27, focusing on pest management, technology, and crop management.

This free event kicks off with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by tours starting at 8:15 a.m.

The field day will feature presentations from MU Extension specialists on topics like weed management, crop diseases, and the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture.

Attendees will also see demonstrations of cutting-edge technology, including drones, autonomous robots, and Mizzou’s Monarch electric tractor.
