Oregon man accused of DWI after crash

OREGON, Mo. - A single-vehicle accident in Holt County led to an injury and arrest.
  
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Chris Kurtz of Oregon was driving a 2021 Chevy Silverado southbound on Olive Drive when his vehicle veered off the road multiple times before finally crashing into a tree.
  
The crash occurred around 2:30 Monday morning, about four miles northwest of Oregon. Kurtz, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Fairfax Community Hospital by a private vehicle.
  
He was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, and careless and imprudent driving.
