2nd Annual Hope Illuminated Gala scheduled for next month

OAKLAND, Iowa - NAMI Southwest Iowa is hosting its 2nd Annual Hope Illuminated Gala on October 18 at the Oakland Community Center in Oakland.

The event celebrates mental health awareness and honors individuals and families affected by mental health challenges, as well as the volunteers and supporters who advocate for mental health in the community.

The evening includes a silent auction, a comedy showcase featuring Dee Dollen and Jarell Roach, and a delicious dinner catered by Kitchen Sisters.

Awards will also be presented to outstanding community members for their contributions to mental health advocacy. Tickets are available for purchase online, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals.
