Area library offering two unique events next week

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Rolling Hills Library in St. Joseph is hosting two upcoming programs highlighting local history and the paranormal.

Next Monday at 7 p.m., Shelly Haynes from St. Joseph Museums will give a talk about Edmond Eckel, a prominent architect responsible for designing 75% of the city’s buildings during the late 1800s and early 1900s, including the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion.

Then, next Thursday at 6 p.m., Missouri Western professors Drs. Evan Hart and Ed Taylor will discuss their podcast, PhD Paranormal, which dives into the world of the supernatural.

Both events take place at the Belt Branch and are free for adults and teens. For more details, visit rhcl.org.
